Album Notes
The mysterious workings of Fate and the Muses had a hand in bringing Rachel Macias and John Nicholas together. Born and raised on opposite coasts they were brought together through music in Santa Barbara, California. They were married in 1979 and wherever their path together has taken them – from California to New York City to New England – music and their love for each other has been a constant in their lives.

Their compelling original songs are an eclectic brew of rootsy Americana, folk and rock. As one reviewer has noted, “They sing with one voice!”

A Beautiful Gift
I've been a fan for years. I had to be patient for this latest recording, and I'm thrilled to say, it's been worth the wait. The harmonies, arrangements and musicianship all blend together into my new favorite CD! So much wisdom and love is shared in John and Rachel's music that listening to it is like getting a long, soulful hug from an old friend.
I find John and Rachel's music so inspiring, I gave their last CD, "The Road Home" to all the people on my gift giving list. Their latest CD is worthy of another round of such gift giving, and I can't wait to share it with my friends and family!

Honest and True
I have had the privilege of hearing this husband and wife duo perform some of this music live and it was really something very special. This CD was a long time in the making and shows what thoughtful and patient song writing can produce and the result is well worth the wait. With a very well founded folk rock roots approach and stellar vocals the lyrical content comes through loud and clear, and as far as I'm concerned it is a universal message of life, love, and hope that we all can relate to and need so much more of in this world. Give this CD a serious listen you won't be disappointed.

An amazing musical journey
Heartfelt thanks to John and Rachel Nicholas for their amazing new CD. As soon as it arrived, I snuggled up on the couch with my honey to listen to it together. What a joyful journey it is to listen to this CD. Their voices, their harmonies are so powerful and evocative. I cried, and laughed, and was incredibly moved by the richness of their music, and the pictures it paints of their shared journey here on earth.

I honor John & Rachel for their dedication and commitment to sharing their experience, for bringing their dreams and visions to reality, and for being the change they wish to see in the world. "Everything I Need" is my new theme song, a perfect reminder of our blessings in this season of harvest.

Thank you, John & Rachel!
