With this album, I attempted to "translate heaven to sound"(thanks for the inspiration Michael Hedges")It has a strong water element, reminiscent of the sea and desolate , but peaceful shorelines. Lastly,it is an album of gratitude to God for all He does!

I've been blessed with much music, and i want to dedicate this album as one of extreme gratitude to God for all He's done for me,and actaully all of us, if we could just see the beauty and joy around us. Sounds funny, considering what we apparently see on the news and all around us.My hope and intent with this album is to bring the same inner peace to others that it brings me when i play!Another apparent oddity considering i used to play metal! Much of this album is evocative of the sea, and the coastal maritime appeal to me, as i had grown up and was weaned on the solitude of the sea, to where i will one day return! Here's for fun! Send me a message guessing which songs you think are evocative of the sea to me. Feel free and share what you have to say. Lastly, much of this album has a semi, improvisational context.I feel music should be played in coherence to our moods and whims in the moment.Of course with some structure ,though. As for the artwork, i will attach a wikepedia link ,directing you to the artist,Thomas Cole. His Voyage of Life series is a perfect description that fits well the content of the album. when you read ,you may be able to see connections to your own life journey. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Voyage_of_Life
