This album is comprised of original works composed by the artist Julio A. Ortiz over the span of a decade and in reaction to many life experiences. The songs seem to speak directly to you, much like the Mona Lisa's eyes. There is a sense of intimacy whenever Ortiz's music is playing. This artist is from El Paso, TX on the borderland of US & Mexico, both of which have been of tremendous influence in his life. To hear this album is to hear the soundtrack of life.
