Outstanding songs about real life. Surviving childhood sexual abuse, her father's suicide, loss of mother to cancer and brother to drug overdose all makes for very honest music. This woman has lived it and found the courage to sing about it.

Kelita's Thoughts
This is a very autobiographical album and was my first release where I was free enough to express my true self. It is very personal and focuses on all the aspects of my life that were evolving at the time. It was a huge step for me to come to terms with all that had taken place in my life, up until that point, and then share it with the world. My hope is that in sharing personal struggles, I can bring a message of healing to my listeners and encouraging people to take their pain, acknowledge it, and find the hope and strength.

Canada's Kelita has gained quite a reputation in her homeland with RCA and Boot Record releases to her credit. One of her songs "Neighbours Of The World" was the official song for Canada's Winter Olympics a few years ago. Here's the kind of 'new country' that capti-vatingly pervades the country music TV airways nowadays. This modern Canadian cowgirl has a rich, warm, rocking voice that captures attention immediately. Her quality material is clear, direct and honest, packaged musically in contemporary, country-chart styling. It is obvious that this inspirational album has been a labour of love and is highly autobiographical in content. Highlight tracks include "Don't You Think Its Time", "River Of Jordan" and "Unusual Child". Beautifully packaged, this album deserves a major label release and I would highlight it as an album worth searching out.
