Album Notes

Kathy Holly is an Actress, Voice-over artist, musician/bandleader & International Chanteuse and Cabaret artist (She sings in eight languages) who has performed in hotels, clubs and venues from Los Angeles to New York; on Cruise Ships and in Europe, Thailand, Australia, Philippines, China and Korea. She was recently featured in November 2009 in The International Musician, the official magazine of the American Federation of Musicians of the United States and Canada. The Actress, Kathy, was recently in the Hit Musical Comedy “Are We Almost There?” written by Morris Bobrow. She also acts in Mystery Dinner Theatre as well as running her business, Kathy Holly Music and teaching Performing Arts to Children.
Memorable moments include: Singing for Madame Chirac, the wife of the former President of France; first "road" gig in Missoula, Montana; being the first Cabaret singer in China; Performing at the Lotte Hotel in Korea; singing with Al Jarreau in Dino's Lounge in Los Angeles and meeting Peggy Lee.
As a Producer & Director, Kathy is the founder of the”San Francisco Lunchtime Cabaret Series”in which she performs and features her ensemble, “Uptown Singers!” performing the best of Opera to Broadway and Cabaret and other entertainers in several theme shows. For two years in a row, she has directed the fabulous variety show "God Bless the USA" for Veterans at the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco. Her variety band, "Top Hat Band" continues to play dance music at the Marine's Memorial Anniversary Party every November. She also coordinates music for Private Events and in Bay Area Restaurants and Clubs. She recently instigated Supper Club Night at popular Bay Area restaurant, featuring herself and oher vocalists singing Jazz and Cabaret with “Live” musicians.
