ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
You Go, The Debut single of the newly formed Keston Cobblers' Club is an uplifting and rich miscellany of bright catchy melodies and toe-tapping rhythms. Built on a base of Ukulele and guitar, the 3 part harmonies glide effortlessly on top of one another creating a relaxed and jovial atmosphere. With the help of Trumpets, pianos and Accordions the song evolves throughout the duration, ending in a climax of eastern European timbres and polyphonic rhythms before slowly gliding to a finish. With an eagerly awaited debut album due out in early 2010, You Go, gives the listener a little taste of "things to come" from KC Club.

Cheered me up!
A very catchy song! One for the mp3 player to cheer me up on the way to work I think, glad I stumbled across it!

I look forward to hearing more.

A Classic - Buy It!
The first time I heard this track I was completely bowled over... KCC are a ray of light accompanied by breath of sweet fresh air in a dark bar room full of rather stale cigar smoke and beery smells. Whilst some might say they're possibly taking a ride into the current resurgence of folk-rock limelight on the coat tails of acts like Mumford & Sons or Fleet Foxes (where obvious influences are apparent and comparisons can be made), I say that's really not the case... nothing could be further from the truth. This track stands on it's own as a great introduction to a band who I really hope will go all the way - Personally I'd like to see this at the very top of the download charts. Keston Cobblers Club are an extremely talented and creative collection of multi-instrumental individuals, who certainly have their own individual and perhaps a slightly quirky approach to making fabulous music that you simply can't get out of your head. Watching their videos and hearing their brilliant acapella harmonies as well as seeing them making great music using mundane everyday items, simply helps to illustrate their obvious talent and hard work. Watch this band... Buy this track!!
