LT Bobby Ross offers this album as what is called a 'sleeper' in the music industry. After the completion of his first historic album in Nashville in 1987, "LT Bobby Ross - The Voice of America", he became enamored in the music society there. He also became a Tennessee Boy and especially a Nashville 'pet' or 'token' or 'symbol' for the Volunteer State being a 'real' combat Vietnam Veteran and 'War Hero' in the Vietnam War. He was also noted as one fine singer (graduate of the famous Music Department of San Francisco State University) and a magnificent music producer.
He spent 25 years 'serving' Music City. He lived at the hub of Music Row, 16th Avenue, "...where the boys make the noise..." for most of that time in his condo, with guitar shaped swimming pool, and overall view of all of Twang Town. Some of the talents he helped in Nashville are now Country Music's biggest stars. Most he helped quit. He did not.
At this moment he is producing his 'Last Hurrah' album in Nashville. He started this production the first of 2009. Just last month, April 2010, he decided on the 20 songs for this soon to be historic project honoring all those soldiers, men and women, who have given their all in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Leading up to this, he has been recording 'underground' for decades.
In this album, you will hear some of his very best tunes in this time span, and you will hear much more. You will be invited to go to his http://www.rassio.com/lt/ web site to enter one of the most riveting environments on the Net. You will hear songs he produced for Nashville audiences, and Military fans, Veterans and their supporters worldwide.
There is no 'hard copy'. ONLY internet downloads. Here on cdbaby, you can hear 'teasers'. But more deeply, you can venture into the world of LT Bobby Ross. He is at a crossroad. This album is a predecessor to an entirely new dimension in Country Music. Check it out.
