Drawing from magickal forms of the Nightside Tradition, La Sorciere Noire’s invocations and blackly-tinged atmospherics are a ritual praxis that tap into otherworldly presences and places of mystery, opening the gateway between the worlds where secrets emerge from concealment.
La Sorciere Noire evokes these divinations with voces magica, evocative synthscapes and polyvalent electronics, and plays dark and luminous textures on guitars, persian kamancheh, santur, and a wide variety of electronic instruments. Other projects also include turkish saz, yayli tambur, najarian electric oud, godin glissentar and zeta jazz fusion violin.
La Sorciere Noire is the solo project of Dark Moon Lylyth.
The CD art was designed by Asenath Mason (UnholyVault) of Lodge Magan / Dragon Rouge. It is a lovely Necro-Gnosis themed package with a 6 panel booklet of beautiful dark art, including a "Temps-Des-Ghouls", and the Coffin / Crypt of the Red Temple. Included are liner notes, poems, lyrics and credits.
