"Sweet" is a descriptive borrowed from a friend here in Barra de Navidad, Mexico to encompass all that is good at any given moment. "So you and so-and-so finally got it together? SWEET"! Another labor of love from Ned Neltner, lead singer, guitarist and song writer from the Northwest legend band, Jr. Cadillac in his alter ego as 'lalo'. The covers include an exquisite cover of Blue Magic's "Just Don't Wanta Be Lonely", done up reggae dance style, "Breathless"...the Jerry Lee Louis classic that just storms, Jimmy Reed's, "Ain't That Lovin' You Baby" and the Johnny Otis R&B gem, "So Fine'." Lalo's originals here cover the spectrum musically. It just keeps getting better! This time out is the usual strange combination of Rock 'n Roll, R&B, Crazed Country, Reggae and whatever else lalo likes. Songs from a life. Sounds rough to suave and all "SWEET'.
