Album Notes

A bunch of the boys were whooping it up one night in the famed Malemute Saloon, near Fairbanks, back in 1964. The group from Seattle had a few belts as the Aurora Borealis flickered brightly in the sky. When all of a sudden one of them remarked that he could recite Robert Service verse from memory. That Night in the Malemute Saloon stirred up far more than one volume of recitation for Larry Allan Beck - It touched off an eruption of talent and fervor that completely changed his life. Contained within this volume is the first of his works that have cemented his place in history as - The Bard of Alaska.
