His voice has been described as deep, mellow soul with a smooth southern touch. His sound has been compared with some of the greatest icons of his generations such as Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield.

With a career that spans four decades, audiences were first introduced to Larry’s smooth vocal stylings in the seventies with hits like “On the Real Side” and “More Than Just a Woman”. He’s also known for his politically charged hits such as “Free Angela” and “Where Did Peace Go”.

Larry was on the verge of super stardom. But destructive personal and professional relationships plagued the star.
