For soulful music afficionados who also crave a finely-crafted and intuitive lyric, this album will reward repeat listenings. I cannot get the tunes out of my head.  (nor do I wish to!)  And the imagery is sublime - very mature, seasoned, and well-developed.  Turns out this lady sang backup for some major dudes, but she's got something really unique in her own songwriting.  And I think this is her first record!
