98 Degrees And Rising- is the first song on the album with sparkly, rhythmic, straight ahead pop style smooth jazz with a great melody, chord progressions and interesting sounds taking place throughout the piece. Very enjoyable to listen to and a great opener for the album. 98 Degrees And Rising represents the hot weather of the tropics.
Cool Beans- Is a very cool sounding tune with an R&B feel with a smooth bottom bass groovin' throughout the tune. You can definately feel the groove and beat. Has a very relaxing feel to it with a nice repeating hook melody on the piano. The guitar, drums and bass are locked in on the groove and tempo and none of them will budge. There are some synth layers going on underneath the rhythms. And speaking of rhythms. The guitar has a super cool r&b pattern throughout the song. Overall this song is smooth and ready to enjoy.
Clear Blue Waters- Is the first single off of this album released to smooth jazz radio by Stratophonics Music Group, LLC.
It is definately Islandish with a very cool reggae rhythm going on throughout the song. The polyphonic rhythms taking place between the drums, bass and guitars is very relaxing and calm. There are solo sections as there are on all of the songs on this album. There is a smooth keyboard solo and smooth organ solo taking place in the piece. Layers of creative sound colors can be heard throughout the tune. Latin percussion timbales can also be heard in a smooth way.
Fire, Wind And Rain- Is a smooth, upbeat tune on the go. Very tight rhythms throughout the tune. Nice melody taking place.
Underwater Paradise- Smooth, peaceful melody taking place in this song. A slow, smooth R&B feel with nice, relaxing rhythms and melody taking place. An awesome tune to chill out with.
Cruisin Down The Keys- Gets its title from down in the Keys of Florida. There is a long stretch of highway that ties all of the small fishing islands together. This stretch goes for many miles with the Gulf Of Mexico on one side and the Atlantic Ocean on the other side. A great road to cruise down the Keys on. A very cool energetic song with intricate sections throughout the song. A great tune to cruise with.
Palm Beach Coconuts- Is the title cut of the album.Very upbeat enrgetic tune with tight rhythms taking place and a great melody for the hook.
Dolphin Dance- is a tune with a slightly different rhythm than most of the songs on the album. Has a great melody and groove taking place. All of the instruments are tight and right on with each other.
Rockin' The Boat- Has a feel of a boat rocking on the waves of the waters. The hook repeats with the keyboard melody and goes into a very interesting and creative section where you will hear all of the instruments in perfect polyphonics rhythm and cool melody.
Jungle Jam- You will hear bird sounds taking place in the song. Sections are interesting and change frequently. Very cool drum patterns taking place along with guitar and keyboard sounds. This song is a little more on the fusion side of things. Very enjoyable!
Islamorada- Named after the beautiful fishing island in the Florida Keys. Has a great vocal melody taking place with great harmonies between vocals. Also has scatting with Louie Fitzgerald's lead vocal taking place. Very creative, smooth jazz.
