Recorded with Kris Jenkins (Super Furry Animals; Cate Le Bon; The Peth), ‘December 1986’ is the debut single by Lucky Delucci on Bubblewrap Records.

The song has enjoyed early radio play from DJ’s as close to home as Huw Stephens and as far a field as Gene Pembleton of ‘The Great British Breakfast’ Virginia, USA.

This winter epic is the first release of 2010 for the 6-piece who will be spending the year recording new material for their debut album, due for release at the end of 2010.

The New York-based blog Knox Road said:
“The band release a new single, “December, 1986” (in May) and it’s just great. The bunch of instruments really do it for me. They take the slow, jammed-out wandering style we’ve been hearing lately, but give it a small British twist. There’s something great about a little bit of distance and a certain upbringing that makes this music different and awesome. The B-side, “Old Sound of the River,” gets right down into the country folk territory I hoped it would.”

Lucky Delucci will launch the single on 5th May in Buffalo Bar, Cardiff supported by an exciting line up of bands plus a free physical copy of the single for everyone who comes!
