MO is the nickname that guitarist-singer Michel Ouellette inherited from his classmates during adolescence.
A lover of music and the guitar since the age of 12. Michel Ouellette gave birth to the group MO Blues in 1990.

During the 70's,he was remarked for his particular guitar style.
MO plays left-handed with the strings up-side down.
But more than that they say his voice is as intense and hot as the blues themselves.
It brings to mind Ray Charles, Otis Redding ...
The first album appeared in 1998 put the cap on a number of years of live shows.
At the turning of the 21st century, MO Blues released a second effort called "I sing for everyone".
Four years later, MO invited us to discover the contents of his third album "Get the Blues out of You".
..here we are in 2010 and MO is proud to present his 4th album entitled ...Blues 4 U.

Supported by Maypo on bass and Nikolas Lalonde on drums, MO plays his guitar like never before.
When you listen to "I still have my old guitar" , you can hear the influence that "Hendrix's Electric Ladyland" had on him.
The powerful blues/rock song "I deserve the right to sing the blues" let you feel what MO Blues Band delivers live on stage.
And the beautiful ballad "Anybody seen my girl" written by Kevin Moore is played acoustic to focus your ears on MO's vocal. The last track on the album is a delightful jazzy instrumental called "Love before sunrise" .... to be brief, the album "Blues 4 U" leads you on a melodious highway that MO constructed just 4 U.
