ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Orange Heart is the third album by Mama Loo. The album contains eight songs, written and produced by singer and guitarist Edwin de Herder, who was nominated for the third time this year for a Duiveltje, the award for best guitarist in the Netherlands.

The music press says about Mama Loo:
VPRO's 3voor12: "It must be said, with regard to sound and rhythm, Mama Loo stands out from the gray middle. The single 'Superman' from the forthcoming album 'Orange Heart', drags you along art and film. A piece of that feat is repeated in the rest of the songs."
About Mama Loo live: "...rock solid songs and fine musicians who play together very well... flashy bass playing alternated with long guitar solos in a way that makes one very happy... depth, funk, driving bass lines and a rock solid show."
EeuwigWeekend.nl: "Take the new Mama Loo: Orange Heart. Three quarters of creative powerpop. Epic, exciting, an adventure for your ears. Another dream band!"
