"I saw these guys in a tiny DC-area club about 5 months ago. They play a wild, powerful form of power-trio out-rock. I really enjoyed their set and this is basically what I saw! These guys are jazz-trained, but rock-ready. If your taste runs towards tight and a bit brutal, this will knock you out." - WAYSIDE MUSIC/CUNEIFORM RECORDS
"Instrumental trio from Philadelphia twirls jazz, punk and progressive jamming with anything else that comes to mind. Many Arms’ adventurous prog rock evokes an electrified Mahavishnu Orchestra with some of the instrumental punk bands that used to appear on the legendary but now defunct SST Records."-Samir Shukla, Creative Loafing.
"These guys tend to wander way, way out into extended passages of almost Orthrelm-like speedshred as well as lots of forays into jazzy terrain both extreme and melodious, at times invoking the avalanche-attack of Sonny Sharrock and Ronald Shannon Jackson from punk-jazz legends Last Exit, and at others drifting into moments of beautiful post-bop jazz. And where the songs of Stinking Liz often return to a Sabbathy undertow, Many Arms keep things mostly fast and furious, more hard prog and less metallic (though there are plenty of times on this album where the guys get plenty heavy). Recommended!"- CRUCIAL BLAST RECORDS
