I have always been a fan of UGK (Bun B and Pimp C ) But when I heard this cat, it gave me another side of Port Arthur, Tx rap that I had never heard. His stuff is like positive but he spit HARD, and Deep! Keep it up dude!!

This album is a breath of fresh air!! The youth of today definitely need to hear this. The production is blazing and I really appreciate the substance that's in the music. This album has so much substance that you could listen to it acappella! With so much junk food that is being delivered in mainstream hip hop it is good to get something that sticks to your ribs. You have not only inspired the youth but you have inspired a grown up. Everything on this album says positivity. This album could easily go up against anything mainstream and crush the competition. Peace brother and keep doing your thing.

The title couldn't be more fitting. "The Antidote". No matter what background you come from this CD has something for everyone, packed with smooth southern sytle production layered underneath Marcus' cleaver rhymscheme. What sets this a part? The message. "The Antidote" resonates positivity! Which is what todays hip hop needs to return to. Keep do'n ya thing Marcus!!!

This is the most positive rap cd we have ever heard. The lyrics are clean, fresh, and just about anyone can relate to . Five Stars to you Marcus Parker for creating something most artists are too afraid to do.
