Futuristically vintage - a headphone trip mixing wisps of ozone and clumps of dirt. Pedantic beats with slurred strings and argyle textures, Girona is a cocktail of disorientation and déjà vu.

Music likes the primrose path. The best melody is the easiest to sing. And a song should be contained wholly in an instant – a twinkling of the eye, a platonic solid. Recording Girona became a process of detaching and observing, abandoning and accepting…with the quality of its goodness or cruelty unstrained.

And thereby hangs this tale.
