This CD is VERY personal. I was writing about what was going on around me at the time. Issues with my absent biological father, a roller-coaster relationship, my brother's divorce, being misunderstood and my personal loathing of racism.

Album Notes

This CD is VERY personal. I was writing about what was going on around me at the time. Issues with my absent biological father, a roller-coaster relationship, my brother's divorce, being misunderstood and my personal loathing of racism.
This CD earned me 2 "SAMMY" (Syracuse Area Music Awards) nominations. The first was for best writer and the second was for best CD. The review In "The Syracuse New Times," written by Larry Hoyt was favorable and at times, quite flattering.
The core band of musicians gave top-notch performances, as well as some notable guest performers. I'm not much of a story teller, I just write about what I know or see around me and how it makes me feel. I guess you could say I'm pretty naked on this CD. I didn't hide much.
The vintage instruments, production and great performances produced some GREAT grooves and expression.
