Album Notes

Bury Me in the Red Clay is Mary Cogan's tribute to her beloved state of Oklahoma. This CD features musician's Lee Roy Parnell, Lloyd Maines, Radney Foster, Randall Chowning and Larry Lee of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, as well as many well known players all over Austin. Boot - tappin numbers and ballads of love were written by some of the best song-writers in the business.

Mary Cogan began her singing career on a quiet night in a Tulsa Cafe when her friends urged her to get up on stage with the featured band. She literally brought the house down and has been on the go ever since, always in demand.
Mary loves her quiet life in Tulsa with her husband and two boys, whom she adores with all of her heart!
