Recorded between July 2009 and Febuary 2010, this album boasts strong songwriting as well as tight and efficient playing from all 3 members. The band's first offering as MEN DOG HOWL (formeley THE COGGS) is an evolution of a sound honed by The Coggs for years. Now, with catchier lines, big back-up vocals and a new drummer MEAN DOG HOWL has prersented an incredibably original set of tunes while still reminding the listener of a time when Page,Clapton and Hendrix where kings. While the new sound may remind you of a few bands, there ain't nobody that quite sounds anything like MEAN DOG HOWL, if you enjoy THe Black Keys, The White Stripes or The Hives, this album is a must have.
