Adult versions of songs we loved as kids

Ms Lynch does some wonderful versions of the songs you thought you knew. While Carl Stalling's versions were over-the-top, hers are mellow, folksy, jazzy, yet always interesting. Some great backup musicians including Bob Armstrong and Tony Marcus from the Cheap Suit Serenaders. Buy this one!

Singable! Wears well on repeated listening.

Find out the rest of the song The Singing Frog sang! A sweet, clear rendering on the tunes on first listening. On repeated listening, the energy and style of her accompanists impresses me -- fiddle on "We're In The Money", theremin-like musical saw, guitar throughout. Favorites? My son had to tell me to stop singing "Hello Ma Baby" and "Someone's Rocking My Dreamboat" after I first got this.

(I love to hear the eerie sounds of saw playing!) Loads of fun!

Great Voice + Great Music = Great Album!
author: Lindsay D.
Megan has an awesome voice. And she knows how to use it. Smooth, full-bodied and rich with subtle hints of sweetness just like a nice glass of Merlot: she is a pleasure to listen to whatever she's singing. If you grew up with Looney Tunes in the theater or every Saturday morning you'll love hearing the "roots" of the music you sang along to back then. Megan and her band do them all justice and more. It's a fun romp down memory lane. So what are you waiting for?
