On this CD, Cantor Michael Kruk has created a truly modern version of the Hebrew liturgy. These arrangements use ‘big band’ and modern ‘pop’ techniques, orchestrated with brass, guitars, and electronic instruments. The voices of the children who accompany Cantor Kruk affirm the continuity of Jewish tradition in the same way that these arrangements bring together the ancient, the traditional and the modern.
