This new song just called out for help from my long time music buddy,Freddie Ravel.He did not dissappoint ! Since working with George Benson all these years one of the cd's of his I most enjoyed was "Absolute Benson" which featured lots of collaborative efforts with Joe Sample, who gave me my first break in the industry playing with him on the Crusaders "Street Life" Tour.George & Joe are 2 direct influences in my career and "Beans n Grease" is a great example of it.
