ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
-A beautifully crafted highly intensified deep edgy rock album. This debut clearly shows pertinent promise from a young composer.

-Mike is the real deal. His presence and emotional playing is captivating.

Born and raised in NJ in a post-Franco Spanish fashion, Mike was influenced heavily at a young age by watching and listening to his family play at gatherings. Mesmorized by the sound a guitar made, he was turned on to different styles of music such as Rock, Blues, Flamenco, Jazz. Taking in styles from Jimi Page, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Paco de Lucia, Eric Clapton and many others. After living in Spain for about two years, endulging in Spanish culture and way of life, and travelling extensively through Europe, Mike returned to the US in 2006, relocating in the downtown Manhattan area. Plans for a return to Madrid in 2010 and a european tour are in the works. His music is no more than some replica of sounds and emotions that he has received at certain moments.

This album is as raw as it is daring. Pictures of darkness and of light are constantly painted in this highly personal and reflective debut album.
