Album Notes

The second Mister Nervous album, DRAMA rocks harder than the first disc CURMUDGEON without sacrificing any of it's songwriting intensity. Modern, Classic and Indie rock collide in 8 songs that grapple with emotional overload while still managing to be upbeat and exhilarating to listen to many times over.

Wes has been writing strong songs and playing guitar in his own distinctive yet accessably rockin' style for a while now. When he met Kelly and saw him playing drums it was clear to him that it was time to assemble a new band. Scott (one of the hands-down best bassists in Los Angeles) agreed to join in. The songs on DRAMA were written by Wes specifically for the band to spotlight the talents and interaction between these three awesome players.

A chorus of cool singers added sweet backup vocals: Erin & Ben from MY IMAGINARY FRIENDS, Wes from THE MONTHLIES, Patrick & Cheryl from SILVER PHIAL, Dennis and Lydee from THE SUNDOWNERS and local thespian David Fruechting. Ben also added some great violin playing while Patrick is featured on guitars in two songs as well.Every other thump, roar, skronk, tinkle and warble comes direct to you from Wes, Kelly & Scott.
