Throughout Molly Nece’s career, she always enjoyed working in higher education and inspiring students, staff and faculty. Her experience in corporate America and higher education, as well as having degrees in elementary education, psychology, training and organizational development, have all served her well over the past 15 years. It has enabled her to build three companies in three years, and in six months, she wrote two self-help books, "Chasing Stars in the Sunshine" and "Do it Rhino Style," and two children’s books, "A Tale of Miss Molly Sunshine" and "Tyler’s Tidal Wave Adventure." Her engaging, interactive Chasing Stars message has inspired people of all ages. In addition, her Molly Sunshine Tour includes a star-studded line-up. In other words, she is making the impossible look possible!
Molly is also dedicated to helping children, teens and young adults. As a result of her Molly Sunshine and Legacy Producers brand, products, and life experiences, she’s been able to help people dream, grow, learn, and continue to stay focused and take action on their goals! People have said that “there is no need for coffee when Molly is around,” while others say “her message is for anyone at a crossroads in his or her life as well as to those who want further motivation to continue on the path to greatness.”
Molly’s children’s book line, "Molly Sunshine Originals," is a symbol of her dedication to those in Pre-K to 2nd grade. Having a five year old son and an elementary education degree, she knows the value of not only instilling positive messages early in life, but also helping children apply them to their world. She has accomplished this with her books and school appearances. It is her belief that every child is born with the innate ability to “chase stars in the sunshine.” According to Molly, “it’s up to us to help nurture and make positive deposits into their daily life, so that they can continue to dream, learn and grow into amazing stars and sunbeams.”
When the Molly Sunshine team was finished recording the audio for "A Tale of Miss Molly Sunshine," Molly’s son said to her, "Can't I have my own book, Mommy?" In a “chasing stars in the sunshine” moment, she replied, "Sure, Sunshine!" That night, after everyone went to bed, Molly began to think about what made Tyler special. He was a curious child who loved adventure, the water, and never hesitated to take a risk. He also loved music. Singing and dancing brought joy to his life--and his parents! He dreams about being an "animal keeper" one day. According to Tyler, he is going to run his own aquarium or zoo some day. His daddy is going to be in charge of the dolphins, and mommy is in charge of the flamingos!
After two hours of brainstorming, the story board came to Molly like a tidal wave. Another Molly Sunshine Original was created—"Tyler’s Tidal Wave Adventure"! Knowing that Jamie, the illustrator of "A Tale of Miss Molly Sunshine" couldn't possibly illustrate two books in one summer, Molly remembered a woman, Patty Cunningham, who she met two years prior through one of her other businesses, My Internship Gopher. Molly also recently bought one of her Lion Fish paintings that hung proudly in Tyler’s bedroom. After Patty read the story, she said, “There is no way I can say no to this.” Patty Cunningham followed her intuition and was on board for "Tyler’s Tidal Wave Adventure"!
