Yendy Brown, aka Ms. Yendy, started singing and performing at the age of 9, daughter of a musician father , Yendy often found herself singing along to old records in the basement and tagging along with dad to rehearsals.
After realizing the transformation of her vocal ability, Yendy then auditioned for the youth choir at her church. She later joined both her elementary school and high school choirs as well as performed in school productions and plays.
From her love of performing she began her journey developing her singing and songwriting talents, performing the local bands and working tirelessly in the studio. She became the lead vocalist for R&B group Fade to Black which released a single entitled, "You". Her most cherished time in her career as a performer was being on tour and singing background with late R&B star, Aaliyah.
