In my opinion, this is the first album that deserves to be categorized as persian folk rock. The music is deeply rooted in rock and blues traditions but is seamlessly mixed with some folklore elements (check out Bakhshi Aliakbar Bahari playing Sorna and Kamaancheh on this record). The text is cryptic but simple and honest at the same time. Abdi and his friends are very connected to the reality of life and their music has not yet fallen in commercialization trap.
