Album Notes

My Mad Flow is a five piece indie pop rock band born in West Australia. The current line-up consists of Jimmy (guitar and lead vocals), Damien Parke (guitar), Rebecca Aubrey (bass), Tyler Kelly (drums) and Lindsay Mulcahy (piano and synth). Together, with a vision of creating epic pop songs, they are My Mad Flow.

Their need to create epic pop songs has built a mix of music layered with a depth and hidden complexity beneath the surface of catchy melodies and hooks. Having two very different songwriters co-writing songs has lead to their unique set of guitar based songs you wouldn’t naturally hear from either writers own style. Combined with a strong rhythmic base that moves in and around every track pushing them forward My Mad Flow are able to impress more and more on every listen.

Throughout the second half of 2008 My Mad Flow set to work recording the best music they had written in their short career. The tight and dynamic production, recorded at Soundbaker Studios, allows the complex guitar arrangements room to breathe and grow on a listener beneath the full punch of catchy and hook-filled melodies.
