Poor Santa is unemployed! Forclosed upon! And hungry, too! And that's not all, folks...... Rudolf's joined the circus, and the elves are working in a coal mine! But even though his burdens are heavy (and his bag of goodies light), a remarkably cheerful Santa still plans to come to town this year, despite the odds!

Allon Sams, who provide his very talented keyboarding and programming skills on this track, suggested that we dress our song in a Classic Christmas style reminiscent of the old "Charlie Brown" trio music (piano, bass and percussions), which we did. Add to that a bit of a jazz vocal flair (with lots of vocal harmonies)….. and a swingin' tempo….. and you'll be be-boppin’ (and singin‘) along to what we think is a really cool Holiday tune!

Steve and I really wanted to write a light and funny song in response to the seriousness of the current economic trials facing many in our country and beyond (is it OK to laugh about it once in a while?). Also, we are of the awareness that, while it is one thing to have to experience financial challenges firsthand, it is yet another entirely to be able to find a way to maintain a sense of hope for brighter days to come. Believe it or not, we wrote this song nearly a year ago and, yet, it's message still seems to apply. It is our hope and prayer that this song's message will become obsolete very, very soon, so.................. please be sure to download your copy of our song today! Enjoy!!!
