Album Notes

In May of 2007, Nathalie recorded her first album “Corre-me O Fado Nas Veias” in Digital Wave Multimedia Studio Fall River, Massachusetts, replicated by Disc Makers, and released it on September 22nd of the same year.
This album includes 11 of Nathalie’s favorite Fados, 3 original Fados, and 2 "guitarradas" interpreted by Viriato Ferreira who played the classical guitar and Jose Silva who played the 1st and 2nd Portuguese guitars and the bass throughout the whole album.
The album had great favorable reviews from the media, calling it one of the best Fado CDs recorded in the USA, in 2007.
Nathalie was awarded the "Premio Lusiada " of the A.U.A. (Artistas Unidos da America) for "Best Fado Album of 2007", for her debut album "Corre-me O Fado Nas Veias".
www.nathaliepires.com was also launched in the beginning of the same year. Nathalie Pires is a very popular name amongst Portuguese communities in North America; with performances in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, California, Toronto and Winnipeg. Also in Lisbon, Portugal and Austria.
Nathalie is fluent in both English and Portuguese and has a dual Citizenship from Portugal and the United States of America.
