Album Notes
Despite the band's two year existence, "New Retro Live!" is the first release from the bluesy funk-rock quintet out of College Park, MD. This recording is a set from a stormy night at the famous Surf Club Live in Hyattsville, MD on May 16, 2009. Two weeks after their appearance on WRYR's Local Lowdown and two days after a stint at Vegas Lounge, the band was in full effect as drenched patrons poured through the doors. Fans quickly dried up from the warmth of the newly added Flange pedal picked up by guitarist, Wey Spence. It was a must buy after Vegas Lounge when the old pedal broke upon the impact of a humongous foot courtesy of front man, Aubrey "Chè" Adams. The incident ended up a blessing in disguise so we thought we'd share the gift with you!
