Album Notes

Noema band was founded in Milan, roughly between ’96 and ’97. After some adjustment, the combo finally reached the current day line-up: Francesco Mastrapasqua (guitars), Roberto Gagliardi (drums), Marco Perego (vocals) and Luca Reale (bass).

During these years the band participated in several Italian contests (such as Rock Targato Italia, Arezzo Wave, Sziget Festival), playing its phosphoric, highly reactive, insoluble in water type of rock wich spontaneously burns when exposed to the air.

Punto di equilibrio is their first full length production, recorded in 2009 during the snowy Italian winter at the 'I Art Studios' by Ilario Calì, and it’s the culmination of 3 years of jams and rehearsals.
This production can be considered a concept album almost casually, when the leitmotif between the tracks’ lyrics appear by its own, hanging by a thread, fusing pop melodies on a rock canvas, visceral riffs and a moody rhythm element.
