Album Notes

One From None see Nashville's Noisecult pull their collective influences in a multitude of directions. The opening track "Awaken" serves more as a warning as it does an opening number...giving way to the epic sounding "The Serpent Rises" as it twists and churns through galloping guitars and drums. From there the album runs the gambit of styles that echo metal eras past...from the early 1980's NWOBHM feel of "American Wasteland" the bombastic double kick slam of "SHEviL" to the Voivod sci-fi metal attack of "Digital Gods" One From None doesn't let up the sonic attack.
The ever underlying sound of their Sabbathy stoner rock roots is on display throughout tracks suck as "No Sanctuary", "Whole" and "200 Year Old Giant". They serve as solid anchoring points for a solid heavy rock CD. Tones and temperment that all blend perfectly into a sound that is a defining natural of a Noisecult release.
