ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is the debut release from up and coming Vancouver metal titans, Nylithia. From a city known for producing such world renown metal acts like Strapping Young Lad and 3 Inches of Blood, comes a new breed of technically invigorating death/speed metal. The "Infector EP" blends a unique mixture of hard hitting riffage, with unusually catchy heaviness being exuded from all facets of the CD. Royce Costa uses his definitively original guitar tone to create awesome musical landscapes that can range from bleak, to powerful, to uplifting, all within the confines of just one track. Along with Kyle Scott's savagely frightening banshee wails and skull crushingly powerful low end growls, Nylithia creates a progressively refreshing album over top of the intriguingly pounding rhythm parts composed from the minds of founding drummer Tyler Erhardt and their stalwart bassist Nathan Rothstein. Overall, it is an album that will make you want to literally thrash til you bleed or bang your head until all grasp of gravity fails you and the dizziness that ensues, results in severe bouts of projectile vomiting and wide-eyed looks of disbelief on the people around you. Make sure to see the accompanying videos released on YouTube, they will only further your enjoyment and ensure your metal-fix is complete.
