Folk group „Olemba“ was established in Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia). There is no exact translation of the name, it could be translated like state of action, play.The group performs ethnic traditional Karelian and Finnish songs and author’s songs. Owing to the quality of performance, the group is on a level with popular groups, who performs north folklore. Members of the group „Olemba“ worked in such as „Va-Ta-Ga“ and „Myllärit“.
