Palindrome was founded in 2000 around Vienna. Composing a repertoire of songs, they played local venues and made it to the finale of Emergenza Band Contest 2003. After a promising start the band took a creative break to reinvent themselves as well as their already composed songs for their first full-length album "Profit vs. WoMankind" which they presented in October 2009 at the established Porgy & Bess Music Club (Vienna).
Palindromes music benefits from considered arrangements and its composers vast musical approach reaching from World Music, Jazz, Metal, Pop to Funk. Influenced by bands like The Mars Volta, PJ Harvey, Mr. Bungle or Naked City Palindrome still stays unique and enhances the spectrum of modern progressive music.
All members of Palindrome are experienced musicians who have played all over Europe and on big Festival Stages like Nova Rock, Donauinselfest, Frequency Festival, Kaltenbach Open Air and Walpurgis Metal Days.
In March Palindrome supported US-Band State Radio in Vienna.
