Parallel Mirrors is comprised of two childhood friends from the Washington D.C. area (now Seattle transplants), Michael Springer and Montee Kimpitak, who formerly recorded an album under the name Force From Beyond in 1999. A decade later this duo reunite to record this self titled debut, which fuses influences from 60's rock, 70's punk, 80's noise rock, and 90's indie/shoe-gazer.
Tracks like "Keep Alive" show off Parallel Mirrors' take on heavy pop rock. And "It Comes and Goes" features a rare writing collaboration between Mike and Montee. While "Die Alone" hints at possible future sounds infusing more modern sounds.
Recorded at Parallel Studios in Seattle, WA in early 2010. The album was produced by PM and is self released. Please visit www.ParallelMirrors.com
