'One Little Light On' is an intimate triumph. Recent tours with Nick Lowe and Chris Smither as well as solo opening performances warming up for Linda Ronstadt, John Hiatt, Was Not Was, and Shawn Colvin to name but a few have given music lovers a taste of a heretofore unknown repertoire that has taken shape in the shadow of Cebar's primary work with his band, Tomorrow Sound. A richly representative slice of that repertoire makes its debut in the marketplace as 'O.L.L.O."

Featuring a few vulnerably unguarded Cebar originals ( 'Can't Blame A Lover', 'If Only It Were Over' and the title cut) and a gaggle of co-written gems ('Something Brighter', 'What's Keeping Erica?' , "Didn't Bring It Up', 'It Done Fell Off', 'Holding On To The Wind') which our maestro has been working on with esteemed and droll compatriots, Pat McLaughlin, Peter Mulvey, Willy Porter, Paul Finger, and erstwhile Harlem-based saxophonic collaborator,Tony Jarvis, a trio of covers of contemporary singer-songwriters that Paul admires (Stephin Merritt's,'The Book Of Love', Dayna Kurtz and Jim McCormick's, 'Right For Me' and John Sieger's, 'I Painted Your Eyes') and two 40's era intimators( 'I Just Can't See For Looking" and 'Am I Blue?') that showcase our hero's knack for the lilting, this record presents a disarmingly direct glimpse into the underpinnings of Mr C's delightful work.
