Album Notes

Grace Under Water was recorded in Munich, Germany. The cd is a collection of 12 artistic and original tunes which range from Indie Pop to Americana sounds. The songs owe recognition to influences such as Nick Drake, John Lennon, Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Paul Westerberg. The cd has been released on the self-owned Bake It Black Records.

Lyrically, the songs have little to do with the typical boy/girl scenario that’s been beaten to death. Many of the songs on the recording deal with parenthood and the sublime but bleak existence facing civilization today, ala a more subdued version of The Road.
