This 4 song EP/CD was recorded in 1998. Like Paul, it has some politics, a little lost love, and one of his masterpieces, Christmas at Molly's, a wonderful 12 verse story of Christmas seen through a lost sailors eyes with a rousing chorus!

Album Notes

When Paul Metsa first appeared on the scene, CMJ Magazine called him "one of the most poetic protest singers of our time." This EP/CD is titled LINCOLN'S BEDROOM, a song that Paul wrote in response to what he still considers the "witch hunt" surrounding President Clinton's impeachmeant hearing. It also features a powerful feminist anthem, KITTY GENOVESE (WALKIN' IN A WOMEN'S WORLD) about the tragic death of Kitty Genovese in Queens, NY, in March in 1964. Ms. Genovese was coming home from work when she was brutally stabbed "while 38 looked on." The chorus says it all, "I won't stop running 'til I'm walking in a women's world!" The last song CHRISTMAS AT MOLLY"S, Pauls 12 verse song about the meaning of Christmas seen through the eyes of a lost sailor who stumbles into Molly's Bar in Superior, Wisconsin (Molly ran the bar for 50 years, and sold it when she was 85 and worked right up until the sale.) The chorus is a rouser and goes "Pass the malt and mistletoe, it's almost Christmas Day." Paul considers it one of his most enduring songs.
