Album Notes

This is the first record either of us (me, Michael Taylor or Christian Pawola) had ever recorded. It was our dream since we were friends in 8th grade to do an album together. The timing of this album pre-dates any instruction I received on the djembe, as we began recording about 6 months after I first picked up a djembe; Chris is a trained guitarist, with music degrees in performance and composition; he had not only never recorded a cd to this point, but had certainly never done a percussion record. This record is comprised of recorded improvisations that we did together in studio and we hope you enjoy it.
