Album Notes

Hey! We are People Die from north of Seattle, WA, USA and this is our first album, "Cremation Nation". You may find it to be an explosion of punk rock / rock'n'roll energy. We are excited to finally release this disc after years of careful writing and recording. The album is a compilation of work we've done over this time and features two complete song remakes at the beginning and high-quality remastering across the remainder:

-"Human Recycling" and "People Die", from-scratch remakes of songs from our first demo with a few new ideas added on.
-"Punk -O- Matic", the theme song we wrote and recorded for the game Punk -O- Matic 2.
-"Punk Voter", "Feed Your Kids", and "Knights of 21 Oaks", from our second demo but remastered and cranked up.
-"Implicit Eight" and "Follow The Quest", from our third demo.
-"Testing Chair", a third demo bonus track remastered with added parts.
-"Reason to Dissent (live)", "Punk Voter (live)", and "Human Recycling (live)", recordings of us many years ago playing at the nearby grange hall, also remastered.

We'll be making all the first copies by hand with cleaned and inspected reused jewel cases- no broken ones. We'll only use good cases for albums, new if we run out of used (a few used cases may still bear their old promotional stickers- "The breakthrough musical!" and "Parental discretion: Strong sexual content" have been our favorites so far). The front, inside, disc face, and back of the album all feature full-color artwork by Ashley Van Meter. Her breathtaking oil paintings were scanned in at high resolution and adjusted to perfection. We currently print and assemble the CDs at the local print shop with laser card stock and we couldn't be more pleased with the end result. The whole visual presentation comes together to look nothing short of professional.

If you dig the previews, we sure could use your support. Your investment goes a long way with PD since we do all the production and duplication work ourselves, allowing us to direct our earnings to materials for duplicating CDs, and props, lights and power for better shows. We love CD Baby and the fact that we can sell our CD the right way- with maximum artist support! This album is handmade, it uses some recycled materials, it looks stunning and sounds amazing, and it's manufactured with help from friends and local businesses.
