Album Notes

"Golden Sun" features vocalist Angela Benoit accompanied by guitarist Phil Benoit and their band. This album was recorded from October 2009 through March 2010 at "Sounds Like Hale" studio in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii. David Benoit's piano work on was recorded in Burbank, CA. Phil and Angela debut three original works and collaborate with Phil's brother, jazz great David Benoit on the tune "Six P.M.". Legendary percussionist Ralph MacDonald adds his distinctive style to several cuts. This music reflects the their love of jazz and Maui lifestyle.
