Phil Mack has for many years performed on the Irish / Country circuit in the UK and Ireland.During the 70s and 80s Phil and his band The Untouchables were resident at The Harp Club New Cross in South east London, for over seven years ,during this time they also performed at virtually every major Irish Country venue in london and the South East of England.
Indeed during the 80s Phil along with other band members were playing gigs almost every night.
Over the past few years Phil has concentrated on recording many of the songs that proved popular in the heydays of the Showband Era in ireland and the Uk
Phil mack has a very well established website www.philmack.com ,which in the first few months of 2009 recorded over 140,000 hits and has had over 5,000,000 pages viewed .The website also features other great Country artists and the format on the website of showing the song lyrics whilst listening to the various songs is proving very user friendly.
Phil has deep roots in the donegal area of Ireland and this shines through in his music and song choice.
His first single release in April 2009 ,SAY YOU LOVE ME has been in the ECMA country charts for over 5 months , rising to the number 8 position in early October. The song was released on The famous HILLCREST LABEL.
Phil has his latest single out on HILLLCREST a song called HOME TO DONEGAL.
