If you're anything like me you spend a lot of time just waiting for more music from the artists you know and love and rarely find new music that surprises. And it's not that I am ultra conservative. Anyway, here is a piece of music that might appeal.
I guess what's nice about Phil Okrend's music is that it may well escape classification, by that I mean, the music should have broad appeal. Lot's of pretty melodies, unassuming, unobtrusive ... dinner notes. And my own favourite tracks, Dunns River Falls and Remembering You. Enjoy.

Fabulously smooth, like apricot brandy,

The tones on this disc waft from the speakers like a smooth wisps of smoke from peach flambee. The sounds remind me of a nice vintage port, 1977. Michel Cluizel chocolate also comes to mind. Goes well with sauteed prawns, baby greens, and parmesan risotto. Bon appetit!
