Album Notes

Avast! This is the album you've been waiting for! Pirates For Sail proudly presents its long-awaited second CD, "Band on the Rum," bringing you more great sea shanties and drinking songs to while away those long hours plundering galleons and fleeing from the Admiralty. This disc opens with our trademark rendition of "The Derelict," guaranteed to have you quaking in your boots, and includes new favorites such as our rollicking version of "Old Maui" and our original tearjerker "Seven Summers." We even include our tribute to The Pyrates Way Magazine (www.pyratesway.com/) by way of Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show (can we please be on the cover now?), and our cover of the great Tom Lehrer's "The Irish Ballad." You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll wonder where all the rum has gone!

"Band on the Rum" was recorded at Bobby Bender Studios/Javboy Records (www.javboyrecords.com) in Douglassville, Pennsylvania.
