Album Notes

From the choir pews to the coliseums, PoneBoy has entertained mass audiences with his refined vocals. In the early years, singing in groups and quartets, he found a passion and love for music. Through the influence of numerous artists in mainstream music such as BabyFace, El Debarge, PoneBoy developed his own style and understanding of what music means to him. Now as a solo artist releasing from the state of Hawaii, he shares the beautiful music that resonates through his head.

Situation, the debut album, written and performed by Poneboy is a testament to himself of what music today should sound like. As a product of Connecticut, he's seen the streets and the situations real people go through. He brings to you a selection of songs soulfully written for people going through a variety of situations. From the secret admirers (I Should be the One), lost lovers (Over You), troubled couples (Keep It Simple, My Bad), the warm-hearted (Lend a Hand) and without a doubt, the lovers (Ain't No Me, Hit Me). Like Twenty Questions...Who, but PoneBoy could make an argument sound so beautiful? Each song made to touch you, some, in ways you never imagined. Don't miss out on some of the best R&B music today.
